Description of Stylish and Supportive: SIGVARIS Merino Wool Outdoor Calf-High Compression Socks 15-20mmHg

Merino Wool. SIZING: Our knitting machines regulate stitch length and yarn tension while shaping the fabric to a leg model for the best fit. The compression level of these socks is 15-20mmHg, which was crafted with the most precise sizing chart in the industry. BENEFITS: People buy compression gear for a variety of issues - spider veins, varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, DVT, and edema. These products help against these issues by preventing pooling in blood flow and general edema/swelling. COMFORT: Our fabric provides thermal control to keep feet cool, dry, and comfortable. These products are built with Achilles tendon protectors to reduce vibrations to vulnerable ligaments & footbed and toe cushion zones to help prevent blisters. TOP QUALITY: The fibers in our products are innovative in the sense that they enhance performance and durability. We use high-filament synthetics and channeled polyesters blended with cotton which wick away moisture to keep your feet dry. MATERIALS MATTER: Every single one of our products is made of natural and synthetic fibers. We use only Merino wool (micron-count wool that feels like cashmere) and are the only manufacturer using Supima cotton. Also silicone and animal-product free.

Comfortable and durable.

Very practical. Thicker and softer than most compression socks. I liked the first pair so much that I bought a second pair 6 months later. Worth the premium price.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Zero

Comfortable and durable

These are the most comfortable compression stockings I've found. If you are tired of socks with elastic bands, then these are your socks. The wool is soft and your feet don't get hot. I have used many other types of socks where the elastic breaks easily or is so thin that it rips when put on. These socks have proven themselves, one pair of my pairs is already two years old.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Lots of things

Narrower in arc than most. Good construction

Size medium short for my liking, a bit tight in the arch but otherwise similar to other socks I've tried (my ankle is 8.25 inches / my calf is 13.5 inches , shoe size 10.5 ). This size does not raise the calf as much as most compression stockings. Different brands with the same ankle/calf measurements and mmHg readings. You still have to try different stockings to determine what compression you need. Good construction. Slightly thicker than an average compression stocking.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
