Disappointing Compression Stockings for Team Sports

Using this product, our team found that the grip top was uncomfortable and caused irritation, making it difficult to focus during training sessions. Although the compression level was adequate, the stockings did not provide enough support and started showing signs of wear after just a few uses. On the positive side, the color options were attractive and the material was breathable. Overall, we would not recommend these stockings for sports and outdoors activities.

Pros
  • Effective in reducing swelling and improving blood circulation.
Cons
  • The grip top may cause discomfort or leave marks on the skin after extended wear.

Suitable for orthoses, splints and bandages like tights

I really like the products and customer service from Sigvaris. I have ordered this product before and I love how they look and feel. They look more like pantyhose than other products. Their catch is that they are not that strong. I always seem to get sores on my heels or toes. This time it happened a month later. I may have to switch to soft topcoats because the hoses are too expensive to swap out that often.

Pros
  • ORIGIN: Born in Switzerland. Made in the USA. People buy and wear compression stockings to prevent and treat certain problems, such as:
Cons
  • Something different

Warning - NOT the same quality as Sigvaris made in Europe!

For the first time I bought a pair of European made Sigvari in Switzerland. In the medical supply store I was told in detail that I always wear a pair of rubber gloves when putting on and taking off the hose, wash them only in cold water with mild detergent, line dry and carefully care for them. I have 3 pairs of Sigvaris from Europe that are over 4 years old and they are all still in great condition (no holes or scuffs!). However, they were much more expensive than the US-made Sigvaris. So…

Pros
  • HIGH STANDARDS: All Sigvaris products are class 1 (general oedema) and class 2 (circulatory). Together with the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certification, this proves that our products really add value to our customers.
Cons
  • boring packaging
