Not bad overall - Seasonal lighting

I liked the look of the material, although you can easily thread each one through the diffuser. Also tie the whole thread to the light ribbon and just pull it through. yes it is NOT possible. I had to take scissors, cut the back of the diffuser and stuff the headlights into the duct.

Insanely difficult to use

Rope is a joke. You will need to cut it into 3 foot strips for them to be used remotely. For my needs I need a continuous strip at least 10 feet wide so this is not an option for me. I tried cutting it at the back and attaching a light but that didn't work either. Definitely not recommended, it's much easier to just buy string lights or aluminum channel.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • No safety net

Nothing sticks to the seasonal decoration

Well the product actually works as advertised. I had other plans that didn't work out. I was planning to use 3M double sided tape which does not stick to this product at all. There will be nothing else. I've even tried Goop, which in my experience goes with almost anything. The downside of not being able to use glue is that there aren't enough clips for the length of tubing. If you're hanging from the bottom of something like kitchen cabinets, you really need a clip about every 4 to 6 inches to

Not worth the money

It's basically impossible to put an ordinary LED strip in these things if you mix up the cable. I bought the largest and my strip was 10mm wide. You can't push a meter without a rope, that's mandatory. So if you screw it up, you might as well throw it away. Don't try to cut with a knife. You will only ruin everything. I gave 2 stars because the product is basically not reusable. You're better off just buying something that already has LEDs in it. *I will increase this to 3. You can take a metal

DO NOT BUY, good luck trying to stretch 5m of paper thin LED.

PLEASE READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. It will warn you better than me. The product itself is a nice sticky rubber sleeve. Good price, good quality and ideal for gliding 16ft thin paper led strip with kite rope. Alright, here we go: there's a kite string you can use to run your LED through a fake coated rubber mat with imperfections in your rubber case. He got caught all the way. I started having a lot of rubbing about 12 inches after inserting it. When attempting to slide, the LED was…

  • This is great
Cons
  • Bad experience

We've all experienced it and done it, and sometimes we forget to use our common sense and brain for critical thinking. The level of difficulty to get this project right is beginner level and the best advice is free advice. Here's a little tip for some potential customers who are worried about the installation: 1) DO NOT do this project yourself or you will spend a lot of time pulling the string and pushing the LEDs through the silicone diffuser. Have someone pull slowly while another person on…

Don't expect diffuse, pristine neon light

First, don't try waterproof LED strips with this as they're too thick to fit through the silicone sleeve. If your LED strip has spliced ends on both ends and you don't feel comfortable cutting them off and then splicing them back together after passing the light, don't buy these bulbs. I tried leaving a connection on the LED strip and it was too thick to go through. One side is slightly lighter than the other. I guess it's the top. However, when I passed the light through one of the sides, it…

You must have the right lights if you want a spotless look!

The product is very beautiful and of high quality. It's a bit tricky to get the *LED strip* through, but I just cut the line on the back. If you are working on a project I would say be careful with them. The price is a bit high and can add up quickly. This product is expensive on its own if you're looking for a cheaper alternative if you offer to look at some 'neon light strips'. If you want the best quality you can go for it, but you also need to keep an eye on the LEDs. To get that diffuse…

Decent diffuser for uneven surfaces

I bought this product mainly because I'm trying to find the perfect solution for installing RGB LED strips, and the traditional aluminum track with a plastic diffuser is always hot has jobs. unless you get 120 leds/m strips (twice as many as the highest density RGB strip bundles). I'd say this at least does a great job in terms of size and cost, and perhaps the 16x16 version (which only projects in one direction) probably does a better job of reducing hotspots. In the photo I'm using this white
