I would suggest also considering versions of these that have a flat plastic squeegee side and a scraper end on one side. They all go well together as you can use these totally soft on a variety of things, the scraper/squeegee is made for utensils when you need it. However, they are more versatile! Some reviews complain that the soap slides off and that these sponges are small. But those two things are actually great features to have when you're out and about. I take a tiny 1/2 ounce bottle of dish soap and one of these sponges to work every day so I can wash lunch and breakfast containers and dishes at work.
