I have to say that the quality of it comes first. Wire insulation thickness is correct (not too thick). I bought this specifically for use with Molex crimp connectors. I was worried it wouldn't work with crimp terminals, but when I bought it it was the only 20 AWG stranded wire available. I prefer PVC insulation and have never worked with silicone insulation. At first the crimp seemed good - it stuck to the insulation and looked normal.
