This case did not work in any way as described. Not only was it significantly worse than the standard case at cooling (90 degrees peak versus 80 degrees for the kit), but it also slowed my CPU down to the bare minimum, dropping boot times from under 10 seconds to almost a minute. . Also, it rendered several of my USB and HDMI ports unusable. No permanent damage has occurred but I remain very disappointed with this case and have reverted to the case that came with the NUC.

I will never buy this product again. The first chassis I got didn't work because it was pretty cheap and had to be replaced. They sent a new one but it was the wrong model so I had to send it back. It's been a week now and I'm still waiting for the third replacement. Before purchasing I contacted the manufacturer to verify the model for my application and they responded five days later with incorrect information. Never again!

The instructions inside the box were printed incredibly small, luckily they were published on the Silverstone website and I was able to zoom in using a PDF viewer. The installation went pretty quickly. The case can get quite hot to the touch now - I'm happy with the purchase!
