I wanted something different, here it is. It's not a $200 leather frame because I didn't want anything too flashy. Holds up well. My mattress won't sink. Read my reviews to see the mattress I bought. It took a long time to assemble, more than 2 hours. But there's nothing wrong with that, I'm just not used to assembling furniture.

I've had this frame for maybe 3 weeks and the rods are bent. I don't recommend it. I 'ghetto' fitted it with wood and other things to make it more stable and curved the bars backwards and such, but if you sleep at the wrong angle you have a nice hard bar in your back. This frame should fit one person. But don't get it if you have a partner and do NOT have sex on it. He staggers and helps him slow down. Not a frame I would buy again.

Good looking and reliable! Took me about two hours because I made a few mistakes. I accidentally put the wrong sticks in and struggled to get them out. I had to use a hammer to knock them out. They also sent me screws that would not tighten. I played around with them for a long time before realizing I had additions in my house that I could use (see attached photo). This bed was pretty easy to install and pretty solid. The bed comes with an Allen key and a small wrench to hold the screws. Set up is very easy even for one person and the instructions are clear. The instructions call for assembling the head and foot ends of the bed, then the side rails and finally the cross rails.
