These are really strong couplings but as they don't have a normal pipe cone make sure to use plenty of sealant to prevent your new fountain from losing vacuum. I speak from experience.

Good quality. It looked a little loose, but it could have been pipe threads from a home store. The tube had to be threaded longer to allow the collar to bring the abrasive tip and tube into contact.

Diged a well in the yard about 30ft deep with these and 6ft of pipe. Used a tractor shovel full of mud for mass to drive the well point and pipe into the ground. They withstood a lot of abuse and performed flawlessly.

Tough! Used 3 of these on a 23 foot sand hole. No problem! I would take another so you have a small piece of pipe to attach the connector to. Drive caps can still ruin pipe threads if you're not careful.
