Best way to reduce clutter in Birds

This reduced the mess a bit, but many good seeds and pellets still ended up in the bottom tray, which had to be discarded. I like the idea but I don't think it's worth what it is. I will use other feeders in the future due to their cost, if they were cheaper I would consider buying them again for my other cages. But really, for less money I'd rather buy other styles that reduce the clutter.

Great feeder with no mess!

I have tried other variants of this type of feeder. Don't mess with the cheaper ones. they're flimsy plastic versions of it. My finches and canaries love these feeders and so do I! Since I have this, their cages are much cleaner and I don't have to give them fresh seed every day. If your bird seems scared, give it a few days. I had a Gloucester that didn't eat any of it for days. (Now he lives in it!)

This feeder works as advertised!

This bird feeder works very well. My two parrots were sitting on the perch looking at it when I first attached it to their cage. The next morning the birds approached him. They could see their food through the clear plastic. But how will they figure that out? That day, they happily filled the bowl at the bottom of the feeder with seed pods. I just take out the cup and throw out the trash. You are happy, I am happy; okay with the world!

There were doubts but they are gone

I was skeptical about the statement that this feeder catches bodies and falling food. The photo is shown after being placed on the cage for 2 days with the water trap half filled. Otherwise the whole mess in that pool would have ended up on the floor. I had to modify these feeders for my flight cage as my cage didn't have the typical feeder ports. So I actually had to remove some poles to install the feeders. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. In my opinion they are worth their…

Big! One thing you should know

Better than another design from another company. Be sure to include a small sliding door for your size pellets inside. It should be open enough to allow food to enter the feeding area. The birds flew in and pointed to the screw to solve the problem 😆. So I did. Very easy to install but you have to look for it. I not only like that it contains seeds but how it captures seeds/dust that needs to be removed and can be filled from the outside of the cage. Less poking around in a small door.

Happy Birds: Birds

Bought for two Indian Ringnecks.TIP. Make sure to ADJUST the slider to skip more feed when feeding larger seeds. I made this mistake and after they reached some big chunks of the mix nothing came out and it blocked the feeder, set the shutter, no problem now. Keeps seeds for about a week if you feed fresh fruits and vegetables separately. My only criticism is that the front you use to clamp the wire between them could be bigger as it doesn't quite reach the two wires on my cages. .It captures…

Serious problem with feeder

I bought this feeder to fit my English budgie and his partner who is a normal sized female budgie. They have been using the feeder for many months. I liked how the bowls are sorted into the bottom bowl for emptying. However, one morning I discovered that my female parrot was stuck in one of the slots in the part where the bird stands to eat. Apparently it happened in the evening. I only found her in the morning, thrashing herself terribly trying to free herself. She had to be put down by the…
