Excellent cutting performance, but pricey

The Simonds BroadBand Bimetal Positive Variable band saw blade delivers excellent cutting performance, making it well worth the investment for any professional or serious DIYer. As my tests showed, it can easily handle the toughest materials and provide accurate cuts with minimal effort. However, it is priced higher than some other options in the market, which may be a downside for budget-conscious users. Overall, I highly recommend this blade for anyone in need of superior cutting performance.

Pros
  • excellent cutting performance, accurate cuts with minimal effort.
Cons
  • priced higher than some other options in the market.

Doesn't work for me.

First I bought them as a last resort and they sent two different sized blades. The ones I was able to use dulled fairly quickly and the blade deflection was off the charts. I'll stick with the Lennox leaves.

Pros
  • saw blades, parts and accessories
Cons
  • old

In fact, I'm inclined to think that Ellis is using a Simonds A8 stock. Ellis saws are known to use a dry cutting system with minimal heat transfer to the saw blade. Round tooth blades are best for dry cutting in my opinion. I usually order 3 to 4 TPI blades for dry cutting and I am really impressed with the dry…
