Efficient Sewing Tool: SINGER 00106 Seam Ripper & Tape Measure Combo Kit Review

This product is a waste of money and space. It failed to make my sewing project easier, instead, it added more frustration than convenience. The price is not worth the low-quality built and the unreliable measure marks.

This product works great after I learned how to use it properly. Simply place the metal part of the needle under the stitch you want to remove and advance it as far as possible until the thread touches the red tip. I made the mistake of removing a seam with just a metal point and had a rough time, injuring my fingers in the process. One day all the tape measures in my happy little house disappeared while trying to measure my little cat for an e-collar for an upcoming surgery. Not in the sewing drawer, not in the trash drawer, not in the bathroom, not in the kitchen, not even in the freezer. So those were add-ons, I think $1.50 each, including the seam ripper.
