Too bad there are no classes.

The only good thing about this item is the price. You can use it and just throw it away, I won't use it for real painting, buy better ones and wash after use, you can reuse it, I use it for my two part epoxy, epoxy is so sticky you need it every time the brush throw away. So these suit me.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Doubtful

Inexpensive fiberglass and resin brushes and more

These were purchased to apply resin to fiberglass. They work great (except upside down of course) and we used these brushes to apply epoxy paint to parts of the handles and polyurethane paint to other areas. For the most part they don't shed.

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
Cons
  • It's ok

Great price for a disposable brush!

I usually use a large amount of solvent to clean the brushes after applying Cetol to outdoor woodwork. This brush allows me to just throw them away (or burn them in a wood stove) after a few uses without worrying about all the cetol coming out. Simply pays off with the solvent saved.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Best disposable brush

I use these brushes as disposable brushes when painting with Dixie Belle Paint's PATINA collection. These brushes are much cheaper than buying g from BIG BOX STORES. The wooden handles allow me to use a marker to mark which patina I'm using. I will order these brushes again to use as disposable brushes.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

excellent value for money

They offer excellent value for money (for the right kind of work). You can just use and throw them away. For some jobs, it's much easier not to clean every session. I have a box of these and 2" to repaint the wood pieces on my patio - works well with outdoor latex and don't feel guilty about throwing one out every day.

Terrible bristles and blistering of dried paint

Used for applying epoxy to marine plywood. I had to go through every inch of the finish, finding and removing any stubble that fell out before the epoxy set. What I missed had to be sanded down. If you are doing the base layers this is not a problem as they will still be sanded down. For the final layers, I bought a decent brush from a reputable store. The bristles no longer fall out and the blisters are drastically reduced. I don't use them where quality is required, they splatter around on…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Easily torn

Keep looking, don't stop there.

This really sucks. If consistency were a virtue they would get five stars, but one brush is totally different from the other. They have bristles attached directly to the handle and the worst thing is that the bristles keep falling off in different directions. I realize this is a budget item, but even for quick and dirty jobs I don't want the bristles to be tight. via paint, varnish or whatever I apply. It's really frustrating when you have to go back and select them. I think a few bucks more…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost never

I ordered cheap brushes for one-time use and do not clean them

I use these cleaning brushes on the POR15 for various applications. It's a paint that turns into a rubber coating (pretty much) when it dries. I only use these brushes once and throw them away because it's almost impossible to get all of the POR15 off. I find that when using brushes the bristles in the paint become loose and I have to pull them out of the paint from time to time. Can't complain though as it does the job and I have more than enough brushes to last me a long time. Recommended for

Use and lose good for brushes

This is not the best brush. There is some shedding. Even at the end there are no bristles. They are mostly straight, but stand out in different lengths. If you want to do detail work with them, you'll need to bring scissors and trim the end to make it straight. For the price, however, this is a very good deal. I can deal with a little shedding and trim the end of the brush to line it up as well as trim any excess mismatched bristles. I even cut it at an angle to finish it off. I suppose you…

  • Very good price

  • The list will be long.
