What a cute mug, isn't it?! I was so excited to see this and had no doubt that I would buy it; it spoke straight to my feline heart. I have to admit I didn't buy it to keep my drink cold or hot for long periods of time and all it does is keep my coffee warm a little longer (about 45 minutes or so) than my regular china a cup. So if you want to use it like a real thermos I would look elsewhere.

I ordered this machine with the express intention of using it to make herbal tea. The lid allows me to easily brew tea with the lid on and the mug keeps it warm without being too hot to drink for very long. I'd guess how long, but the simple fact is I drink it too quickly to know how long it stays at the ideal temperature. I really like this design too and it suits my quirky 'T' Catwoman look.

This tea has never kept my tea as hot as some cheaper brands (Ozark Trail). After 4 hours it got cold. Then, after about 2-3 weeks of using it (and cleaning up immediately after using it), it started adding a fun flavor to my drinks. I tried different drinks, same taste. Tried different cooking methods, the taste is the same. The only thing that stays the same is the cup. Very disappointed considering I could (and should) stick with a cheaper brand with better results.

I used this for the first time today and it has (temporarily) kept my coffee hot for over 3 hours. I brewed the coffee first in a microwavable mug and then microwaved it for 30 seconds. After that I put it in this vacuum mug (this mug shouldn't be used in the microwave) and after almost 3 hours it's still fine. I haven't tried cold drinks yet, but cold drinks usually stay cold longer. The spout has no lid so the mug must be held upright to avoid spilling. I love blue cats - they are so cute!

I bought this because I liked the baby blue color and the kitties. The color is not light blue. It's much bolder, like a brilliant sky blue. It's smaller than I expected. That suits me, but the insulated wall is also thin. This is probably why some reviewers complain that it doesn't stay hot like other vacuum mugs. The handle is too low for my car cup holder. I bought this mug because its adorable and luxurious bottles are amazing. I don't really understand the lid of this cup. Why is it just open without being able to close the mouth? It would be very easy to have a sliding mechanism there. I'm not an engineer, but I suspect that this design also creates problems with temperature control since it's only open, not closed, and has a lid. I have a lot of stainless steel cups and glasses but never a stainless steel mug. It's well insulated but not heavy. The lid is thin and comes off easily - which bothered me at first, but it stays in place. It's the CUTEST (I have a cat drawing because I'm a crazy cat lady) and it works so well! The handle is also very comfortable which I wasn't sure about when I first ordered it as it is rectangular and not curved like a traditional handle. In the afternoon at work I often make myself a cup of
