After about a month of use, this product started falling apart. Every time we cut a piece of bread, the knife also cuts small pieces of plastic on our homemade bread! I have contacted the company. I took a risk and bought this knife although I wasn't sure if my Henckels bread knife (7 in Classic) would fit in the rail. Fits perfectly! It is made of very durable plastic.
