Vintage Antique Furniture by Skelang Sockets Review

I like these. They go well with an antique office chair I bought that needed new casters. Sad. You will ruin your wooden floor. They roll great but ruined my hardwood floor.

Doesn't even last a year until all the ball bearings fall out, waste of money! Must be replaced with another brand. They were from Skelang. There were two sets of 4 pieces for two chairs. Be careful, Revain buyers! I spent a lot of time polishing these chairs to have faulty casters.

They are heavier and better quality than I expected for the price. I bought these to put at the bottom of my heavy laundry basket. It will look great! They offer what you need. You only need a drill to make the holes and maybe a hammer or hammer to insert both parts :)

No instructions at all leaving you wondering what size drill bit to use. Of course, the required bit is not standard, the pins broke quickly if you just carefully inserted them into the drill. Now they are completely useless. Frustrated with the lack of effort to provide recommendations

I chose these wheels because they look very nice. The problem is they didn't send a sheet showing the size of the shaft hole that the shaft fits. I should have guessed that this would require at least a 5/16 drill bit. It just tells you the stem is 1.5 inches for the hole depth.

I like the ball bearing wheel itself, but the shaft is too short for the wheel's rigidity. Mounting sleeve poorly processed and designed. It's made of cheap aluminum that a steel pulley can't support. I bought these for a chair with wooden legs, thinking that the mounting rod teeth could be carefully hammered into the wooden base of the chair legs, but they just bent. Works great! I suggest using Gorilla Glue wood putty in and around the caster holes as your chair is likely to have worn unevenly. I installed all four casters and glued the chairs in place for 24 hours to allow gravity to bring the wheels to a balanced height. I was impressed with the results on these chairs older than me!
