I have had this product for 3.5 months and have hardly used it in that time. Overall I like this product when it works but as others have pointed out it requires a lot of maintenance when used. To keep it from spinning constantly I had to add a zip tie at the top to increase the pressure on the flange. The clips holding it by the edge often pop out. constant irritation. Seems to work but I was only able to use it once. It's big and awkward to carry to the court, and you'll need a chair or something to clip it to the edge (unless you're 7ft 6in). You can only really use it when you know the space will be empty, but even then it's a pain to bear. My basket has double edges and the hooks don't snap securely. Almost every day when I went out shooting a hook or two would fall off the edge and I would have to take the ladder and put it back. to keep them in place. Since then it has worked flawlessly. As someone who plays a lot of basketball I wanted something that would help me work on the stability of my shot and it does exactly that. I've owned these for a week and only have them due to the snow in action for 4 days, could already notice that it is better to shoot after shooting. The ball will come back to you no matter where you shoot, as long as it's the FT line, center line, or 3-pointer from any point, corner, apex, or flank. I've been using this product for about 14 months and have repaired it about 50 times. If you're "just making clean" 3-point shots, the support clips will almost always come loose before the 10th shot. Now the straps are torn at the seams. You will need an 8 or 10 foot ladder each time to install or repair the unit. I used 75+ strong zip ties to secure the clips to the rim and keep the nose from changing direction.
