Good for fun - sports

Was accurate but misread speed and broke already when it hit base, our friend has an official league radar gun and it read better than this ball. Kids have fun with it let's Just don't get caught in the rain, it doesn't work anymore.

Pretty cool in team sports

My 12 year old wanted this to practice serving. To my surprise it works! He learned multiple pitches quickly and efficiently! I warmed it up between innings and watched the ball move as it hit the plate. Great and fun baseball for a kid trying to learn! However, he has a spherical curve.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Can't remember but something was

very good weight and guidance

This steerable service ball is very good. The weight is the same as the weight of a standard youth baseball and is an accurate size. The printed instructions for placing the pieces helped a lot and seems very sturdy. We have used this for about 5 months and the printed images are still very good and have not worn off.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great for learning to throw

I bought 3 of them, 2 as a birthday present with a flying disc and 1 pc. for son. The finger placement is designed to be thrown with the right or left hand depending on whether your fingers are on the solid side of the colors or in the color area of the outlines. This is standard baseball size and typical hardness. No instructions that come with the ball. I had to google.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

No written instructions - VERY difficult to understand and learn. upset.

There are no written guidelines or instructions accompanying this product. We received it on time but with no instructions on how to throw the ball or the exact position of the hand and fingers on the ball. The baseball only had confusing color codes. I bought 3 practice baseballs that we couldn't figure out...especially for minor league boys baseball (10U). They should have been more clear about instructions or lack thereof. .

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Disadvantages
