Best shocks for Scout II

Love it! Installed on my International Scout II, they feel smooth and manageable, even with 2.5 inches of travel. By far the best shock absorbers for the Scout. Definitely recommend them instead of Bilstein 5100.

Pros
  • 370 degree arc weld end mounts and 180 degree directional mount
Cons
  • Clarity

Black Max Rules! best replacement parts

So far these shock absorbers are amazing. A comfortable, stable ride while still doing its job of absorbing shock. I replaced those awful Rancho R5000s that made my YJ drive like a Radio Flyer van. The hit by the ranchos sent the jeep jumping across the road. A year and a half later, I still love the ride these shocks give me. The only problem I see is that the bushings on the top of the shock are flattened and those things are really hard to find just to replace. I will solve this problem, but

Pros
  • Dual tube design with chrome shaft
Cons
  • Damaged
