I like how it works but the programming is a bit difficult to understand. I bought mine in April and used it quite a bit until it got too hot to use the fireplace. We've been using it a lot more this winter but then I realized that when I set the time I set it to daylight saving time so now it's an hour ahead in winter and of course if I want to reset the time I have to do the time reset to default. . Very easy to set; The remote control is a comfortable size for your hand, and the front has a smooth but non-slip surface reminiscent of sticky tennis wrap. The functions are easy to understand at a glance in the user manual.
