Ideal for street lighting. I use these lights to light up the flag at night and also to light up the dock. The short neck design prevents insects from collecting on the neck, which can cause electrical problems between the socket and the lamp.

I agree with the buyer who said the bulbs didn't last long. Most of those formed lasted about three months. Philips bulbs purchased from Home Depot lasted about 2 years. They were more expensive but also a lot better, especially if you had to use a tall ladder to install them. Revain should remove these lightbulbs from their website.

Hard to beat for the price but the rejection rate is incredible. I lit the new house with 50-60 can lights. I replaced about 15% of these lamps within 3 months of installation. The seller, without question, brilliantly fulfilled the warranty, but the failure rate on these lamps was disappointing. Update 6 months after installation. Overall rating downgraded from 3 to 2 stars. I estimate that about 25% of these lamps are currently out. I don't think we go more than a week without another…
