I cut the threads in 1.5 days!

This inclinometer was great for the first 14 hours of use. The locking bolt then strips the threads in the cast body. I am a trained carpenter and treat my tools with respect. I just used strong finger pressure to tighten the screw and was pleased with how well it held the angle until I GO! This is a tricky mechanism that drives the plain end of the bolt into a tapered brass washer to depress the blade. As long as the threads are not knotted. save your money

I bought a good value composite bevel from another Revain supplier and the quality is good. I have no issues with it other than a large wing nut on the pivot preventing me from turning it over. This sliding bevel loosens and tightens at the bottom of the handle so it can be reversed for dovetail marks etc. I find this bevel lasts longer and is more accurate as it is made of high quality metal. I would recommend this to everyone.

Taken at 9:30am on the FIRST day

I am currently working on wood with constant odd angles so I thought this tool would make the job easier. I rightly wanted to enjoy this tool for its potential but the threaded inner hole SECTION on day one which is definitely disappointing given the price of the item and its lifespan. Yes, stripped threads might be user error (to me personally it seemed like I even tightened them a little), but for less than half a day's work? A little confused as to how long this was supposed to take as one…

Quality Sliding T Bevel

I bought this 10" Sliding T Bevel because I didn't like the one I already had. light weight and durable. The one I already had was solid but I liked it I don't know how heavy it was.The feature I love about it and beats my old one head and shoulders is the locking mechanism. At first it was a knurled handle that was on the top of the handle next to the blade.Only the handle has I didn't like it. I never felt like I could actually lock the blade, and I often moved the blade around to lock it. It…
