Not suitable for tire and wheel tools

I have a 2013 Georgetown 351DS RV. It will not fit the chrome hubcaps that I have on my 19.5" wheels. The steering angle prevents you from controlling the outside rear wheels. Just tried using it after sitting in the box for a month. It's too late to return to the Amazon now.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Problem

Fell apart after minimal use

Worked well for several years but the section connecting to the stem valves fell apart during use. I only used it for 6 months a year as it was in an RV we don't use off season here in Minnesota so I probably used it for about 18 months before it fell apart. This is probably the case if you get what you pay for; Low cost, low satisfaction for this buyer.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Outdated

Worked well for a few years

The pressure gauge worked well. I don't really like the tilt head and had a bit of trouble getting to the inner rim. The rubber seal and spring between the hose and the pressure gauge began to leak air, so it is no longer suitable for checking the pressure. Haven't used it much or very often since it was in our RV. I just thought it would last longer since the slimes named it after him.

Disappointed this time

I bought 2 of these sensors 3 years ago and they were very good. One of these had the air pressure relief valve failing rendering the product unusable so I ordered another. The day I received it I tried it and after 2 quick uses the valve failed. I was very disappointed as I really liked the product. I returned the product and bought a Jaco pressure gauge and really liked it. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I didn't dare to order another one. BTW, the other slime sensor I have still works.

Now it's tire and wheel tool scrap

Purchased 6 months ago. When it arrived I compared it to a couple of other sensors I have for accuracy. I found this gauge to be 4psi higher when it was in the 90psi range and I had to go to 120. But I figured that wouldn't be a problem, I just figured it would be high. I'm pretty sure I've only used it to check my RV's tires about 10 times. Today is bad. It's not holding air at the base of the sensor like it's unscrewed or anything. It's garbage now. I was recommended an Accutire MS-4021B…

works great in tools and equipment

It's slightly more accurate with accurate and repeatable results than a pencil gauge (compare it to two pencil gauges). The pump button is good but slow. not practical with my big truck tires. However, it serves its purpose and does not escape. even works well with my bike tires and gives better pressure readings compared to a pump gauge. My pencil gauges weren't that accurate for these tires. but you will not buy this to test bike tires! The flexible hose works well for hard-to-reach tires…

Pros
  • Tire and wheel tools
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I like it. - Tire Gauges

This Slime 2020-A Dual RV (10-160 PSI) Gauge comes in very handy. A tight fit on the valve stem is easy to establish and the release next to the pressure gauge is also very convenient; After you take a reading, the gauge needle stays at that reading until you pull the trigger, which I sometimes find easier than reading the gauge when it's connected to the valve stem. In addition, the release allows the air to escape from the over-inflated tire, making it easy to deflate to the desired point…
