They're good for what they are and don't get me wrong, they'll hold up. However, I have found that they leave round marks on my blanks when stained or painted. If you need clips to stick, use a clip. If you use clamps to hold your work firmly to the surface while you work, use them instead! They are very easy to use and easy to move, unlike clamps which require secure attachment and bolting.
