Absolutely perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. Now kittens can come and go from the bedroom at night, and the door will always stay in place. And it's so easy to still open and close the door when I need to get through. A wonderful find.

I bought white because I wanted it to match the door. All the pictures on Amazon show it's pure white, but the actual color is more of an off-white color. It looks yellow which makes it dirty. So he draws attention instead of blending in. If the color was real white I would give 4-5 stars.

Very hard to hit but most importantly it won't work if your door is close to the ground (I assume you need at least an inch of room for it to slide across the ground to slow down) . In my case it is stuck and the door doesn't move at all! Unfortunately I can no longer return as I have exceeded the "return window" 1 day. :(

Does exactly what I need it for. The door stays in place wherever I put it, but it still slides and pulls easily. I have it on carpet and it works great. The ball on the bottom is rubber so I can see how it works with both tile and wood. He holds the litter box door open just enough for them to get in, but opens slightly when I have to.
