These beds are ideal for small dogs and cats. We have two of these and I love how they convert from an igloo to an open plan bed and the inner pillow can be removed and washed separately. The fabric is very fluffy and soft. I will say that large males and dogs over 10lbs may find the beds too small.

Incredibly small, only suitable for a toy dog under 4 pounds or a small puppy. My 7lb Pomeranian barely fit in, she thought it was a toy. The size of the bed when you unfold the top is about half the size of my dog's current bed. Good quality but terrible size. The 16x12 nicely has an outer layer that is thick and really takes up space on the inside.

At first I was disappointed. He seemed too small. When I put this next to my other cat bed it was ignored. But when I removed the old one, he managed to squeeze in! (She's a tall girl, probably around 15 pounds). This bed is small but comfortable. I didn't try to openly present it to her like a cave. But she doesn't like change and has never had a cave-style bed. I could try this though and I will post an update when I do.
