I love it when my kids turn on their phones overnight while they charge or a small speaker. I wouldn't recommend putting anything heavy on them, but I bought them for this purpose because they work well.

Works as it should. I love it for my speaker. I keep this in the bathroom to listen to while getting ready for my day. Keeps it out of the way and has room to route speaker wire so it doesn't break.

The parts bag and instructions show a 5 piece system that mounts to the wall and covers the screw head. We're going to screw the three pieces to the lid where they're already connected and should be one piece. They must be separated. Hence I installed it without decorative overlays because. The hole looks small in the photo but they also showed a photo with a switch on it so I figured I could hook up an HDMI AND a power cord so that would work for me too ( Portal, same strings). nope You can't insert HDMI through the cable slot so I don't know how they think you can tuck a switch on it when the hole doesn't even fit the required cables. I SUGGEST there were two, but upon closer inspection it clearly shows and describes the shelf, not the shelves. First, these shelves are perfect for what I use them for wanted to use; mount my computer's speakers on the wall next to the monitor, so I have 4 of these. The problem is that the silver screw cap has to snap onto the brass washer that the screw goes through, but 4 of the 8 silver cap are already snapped in, which makes them impossible to remove and use.
