DO NOT BUY! You can either attach the mount to the camera hot shoe (or your mount) or lock the mount against rotation, but not both. There should be a second washer at the bottom, not just one. I asked for a refund, but this item is non-refundable. Just wasted money.

I have this to pair with my GoPro mount and DSLR camera. Works perfectly. Comes with cable and adapter. The carving is strong and well done. There is a screw with wing nut on the side for adjusting and changing the position relative to the subject. The paint does not seem to be chipping and the material is of high quality. Recommended for work or hobby. We chose the right height so that the windproof cover over the microphone does not fall out of proportion during the shoot.

I bought this to use my Nexus 7 as an external display and it works great! It can also hold other things like my Tascam DR-40 recorder, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and more! While the design of this item appears great, there is one major flaw - at least for me. it snaps into place well - but that soon changes when you place something with a light weight on it.
