Good product best in my review

Good product for door activity detection. There is no audible alarm. Alarm or notification goes to the app on your phone. Occasionally goes offline but re-establish connection after a few minutes.

Pros

Cons
  • The sensors are only programmable with Smart Life devices, which may be an issue for users who prefer to use other smart home systems

App Needs Work in my review

The sensor itself is great. Nice quality, easy to install, works as intended. However, the Smart Life app could use some improvement. Its lack of features is a major drawback to this product. Specifically, it does not have a feature that allows you to change the sound alert or allow for any other alert options. The current alert is too long and the sound is not what I would choose if I had the option. Overall, it works but is not optimal.

Waste of money: my feedback

They don’t work. I get messages between 5 minutes up to several hours AFTER the door has been opened. It’s not worth buying this. And the set up is a PITA!

Pros
  • I purchased it to mount in my mailbox and lid to announce when mail has arrived, it works great!
Cons
  • The system only works for about an hour and then I need to reset them by taking the battery out.

Will not send alarm - didn't even register as installed app on iphone

Product installed as per instructions after three attempts. Kept showing low signal even though the sensor was sitting on counter next to iphone. The app installed but never registered as an installed app so could not turn on notifications. All the "on-line" help were of no use.

Dementia aide - my new review

Love love love this little gadget. I would highly recommend! It was easy to set up, it was easy to link with my Alexa, I have tested it and it sends great notifications, I set up routines and tested that and it’s wonderful, this will make it so I can sleep a little easier having a 90-year-old mom with dementia and worried if she gets up in the middle of night to go out the door. I set up a routine to announce the door is open on my echo devices. I set up a routine to turn the lights on as well.

product produced unreliable results / would not recommend

Easy to install and set up. Using so 94 year-old Mom would not go out when alone. It was very unreliable and would not recommend.

Doesn’t work with Alexa

I set it up with the Tuya app I like that app to control all my devices. Then It connects with Alexa but, it will not work with routines, I set it up to turn the closet light on and then off and Alexa won’t do it. Very disappointing.

Great alternative to an expensive security system.

These smart door sensors work great. They were easy to install and set up. They are a great alternative to paying for an expensive alarm system. I would purchase again.
