I used this material as the top layer of noise insulation in my twin engine jet ski engine cover. As recommended by the seller. I wore S'mart RED 150 onto a base butyl S'mart Favorite 90 muffler. Favorite was quite heavy and dense, and I was surprised that RED was quite light, like heavy foam. I also found it to be a bit trucker when applied - once the plastic backing was removed from the adhesive it stuck to whatever it touched, so great care was needed to place it correctly before pressing it
