Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

Aqua modes fresh/salt water - ok. Connection to additional sensors from other manufacturers without problems. Many functions have not yet been used, fully met expectations. Surprised by the "wild" reviews about the watch, because all this is not about this model. I have been using it for two years - the flight is excellent

Pros
  • The quality of workmanship, ease of use, for me, excellent appearance, clear and convenient software of the mobile application, an intuitive watch interface, a full-fledged device for sports and more. Stable software ate of the watch and mobile application, quick-release straps and the ability to customize the watch case, in Smart mode 7 days without recharging, taking into account 1-2 hours of training using GPS, comfortable to wear on an ongoing basis
Cons
  • The price that goes up

Reliable product for all occasions, quality on par.

In general, I am satisfied with the watch. In an outdoor or indoor pool (without GPS) it measures the distance clearly, BUT, if you changed the style from breaststroke to crawl at 1 distance, then the watch considers that you have started the next track and will add 25 m to you (well, or 50, depending on which pool is set in settings). The pulse in the pool is certainly inaccurate. The chest sensor for swimming is also not suitable, as it washes off with every turn.

Pros
  • Lots of evidence outside of training. Pulse throughout the day and real time, pedometer, display of notifications from the phone (if connected via BT), Sunset / sunrise, barometer (it will be useful for hikers). Sleep tracking. Several different (non-manually configurable) preset screens (colors can be changed). A lot of different indications during training. Pace, altitude, distance, heart rate + heart rate zones, etc. There are no complaints in this regard.
Cons
  • Positioning accuracy compared to Ambit 2 is relatively the same. Didn't feel a difference. So the vaunted Valencell does not work much better than the 8 year old ambit2. And this is with GPS tracking every second. The pulse measures well until the arm becomes sweaty, then it either loses the pulse altogether, or goes off scale to 220 . (I run in the pulse zone 150-160 bpm . Therefore, use a chest sensor, it is accurate, there are problems with it not noticed.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

There is an overview of the autonomy forecast and other features - Pros: - Battery. Suunto 9 has no competitors in the market for autonomy yet. This is their main distinguishing feature. - Good firmware without glitches, at least not revealed for several months. - Big screen - Convenient interface, especially at the stage before training, when you need to set parameters, everything is available - Conveniently made the function of creating intervals - Switching from one mode of energy…

Not Worth The Hassle

Through trial and error, I found that this smartwatch is a big disappointment. The battery life is disappointing, and the interface is confusing. The only positive aspect is the watch's design which looks good. However, the cons far outweigh the pros. Overall, I would not recommend this smartwatch for anyone looking for a reliable camera or photo accessory.

Pros
  • Durable and reliable design for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other smart watches on the market

A bad product, not worth the money.

In general, everything is known in comparison. When you have experience using direct American competitors of this brand. You immediately understand. That Suunto is oh so far from a normal and understandable and not blunt watch interface. Up to normal use time from a single charge. Yes, even the suunto link application on the phone. Defective in comparison with their direct competitor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND TO PURCHASE AT ALL !

Pros
  • Monocoque body. Quite unkillable.
Cons
  • The inconvenience of the user experience with the clock. Very, very dim display. All posters are a complete lie. I wind up the brightness of the display with Photoshop. For all the power supply characteristics they claim, the battery lasts very, very poorly. This is despite the fact that there is no brightness of the display at all. Constantly pressed buttons. Blocking is only in training mode. The interface is dull. Why do a touch screen if everything hangs like that. You can't customize watch faces at all. With that lack of variety of built-in dials, I consider this a huge minus. There is absolutely no multitasking. This, of course, is a complete collapse in the 21st century.

I do not recommend spending your money on this.

In general, when purchasing this watch, I expected to receive a finished product, but I got participation in the beta testing program, and at the same time I was not in the forefront. Once I bought my wife 3 fitness and after suffering with the application I forgot about them. They seem to really work for her, they do not lose contact with the phone, and so on. Offhand, I don’t even remember how long ago she contacted me with a watch, and our phones are the same. Since this is the simplest…

Pros
  • - Autonomy - Ease of management, interface. - Rigid fastening of a thong to hours. That's who it is, and since the Core watch I've gotten used to it and ordinary straps are annoying because the watch with them rotates on the arm.
Cons
  • - The main drawback is the absolute dampness of the firmware and applications. You can't even enter the application, it closes . :)) Only through the muzzle book and then the third time. - Frequent problems of losing connection with the phone - The glass and body materials are not just easily soiled, but they simply attract dirt, dust and so on. Special thanks for the glass with an "anti-oleophobic" coating. Any drop left on the glass leaves a trace, any touch is a bright divorce. Partially solved the problem by sticking an oleophobic protective glass with Ali. Although the look of the clock has ceased to irritate - Disgusting translation into 2022 at the level of Chinese knick-knacks of the early 2022s. But that's the whole problem with this company. Their site is also translated in pieces, so if you don't use devices and applications in English, pass by :) - In the same place with a clear sky overhead, they can show the height with a difference of 20 meters. This is in training mode with GPS and Glonass turned on. - Vaunted technologies such as Fused track can and do work in purchased reviews and reviews, in fact, any problems with receiving a GPS signal leads to the appearance of a maximum speed of more than 50 km / h in the tracks. My last two tracks - in one 52 km/h in the other 61 km/h (and this is not a single point) - Usain Bolt hello :))) And I haven't strained yet :))) - Disgusting support that logs the fact of your call, but not the problems that have arisen. And of course, nothing can explain to you, especially when the clock and the application will work in accordance with the description. - and so on

Well done, but I won't buy any more.

I bought it when I decided to take on my body, because I had serious obesity (so far, I haven’t completely parted with him, but the process is new .). I decided to approach the process thoroughly - with tracking indicators in training, examination before starting a "new life". In general, suunto 9 baro helps me a lot to maintain the regime and track progress. TSS indicators very reliably characterize the state of the body - when you need to take a break, and when, on the contrary, increase the…

Pros
  • Excellent autonomy, excellent functionality. For sports, especially in the open air, it is the most. Many write about the dim screen - I do not know. in the bright sun, it is probably dull, but I have never had problems with this. In the training mode, there is a good contrast - in general, the illumination is enough for me to get the necessary information. In fact, the brightness of the screen was sacrificed for the sake of autonomy and durability - after all, sapphire glass . For a year of active wear, it was not possible to scratch. For example, Suunto 7 - with a gorilla is much brighter, but the screen has been slightly rubbed over the year, but not critical. At 9 baro - not a hint of scratches. In general, for a sports device enough. We are pleased with the strength - this is a kind of armored personnel carrier among watches. On trips I don’t take it off my hand - salty, fresh water, diving, swamp, forest - I never got confused so as not to break / drown / scratch. In general, as a sports watch - there are practically no questions for them. This is the second watch from suunto - the first ones were 7. I took these because of the greater functionality and reliability. In general, I use both 7 and 9baro. Everyone has their own niche - 7 is more likely to travel (NFC, Google applications, navigation - consider a minicomputer is always in your pocket) + fitness, 9baro - more for fitness / sports, moreover, for training for results - it tracks more parameters. For athletes, nice buns in the form of strava partners and others. Special thanks for the V0max rating. This is the thing you need
Cons
  • The pedometer is set up so-so - the usual waving of the arms, even driving a car with active taxiing cheerfully winds up the steps. In this regard, a banal fitness bracelet (I had mi band of different generations) is much more accurate. Sometimes weird with a pulse. Someone writes that it lifts up to 220 - it’s the opposite for me - if the hand is very sweaty, they begin to lower the heart rate, after breaking contact / wiping the hand without even removing the watch - everything returns to normal. But I think this is the problem with all wrist-based heart rate monitors. I will take the breastplate. So far, sleep tracking has not been finished - if you took off your watch before going to bed - it can decide that you are already sleeping and if you then put it on, the sleep assessment will be, for example, sleep 22:00-7:00, sleep duration 6 hours, wakefulness - 3 hours Somehow crooked, but I think they will finish it. Sometimes the assessment of sleep and my own feelings do not match: it happens that the assessment of sleep is good, but you feel overwhelmed, and vice versa - you are completely rested, and the assessment of sleep is bad . In general, I have not yet understood whether this function is useful to me or not, just talk about her and everything. When finished, it will definitely be useful .

In some cases, a cheaper fitness bracelet (+ smartphone) is enough for sports, which will even have advantages in a number of properties (for example, round-the-clock heart rate monitoring with a detailed display of it, detailed sleep analysis). With its pros. A relatively large battery, the presence of a barometer. "Top Model" in its time. With its cons. There are a lot of questions about the suunto software for Android, which significantly limits the capabilities of the device. There is an…
