📱 SmartiPi Touch 2 - Raspberry Pi 7 Inch Touchscreen Case with Cooling Fan Review

Easy to assemble and good looking. The fan is positive. However, to access the microSD port, you have to disassemble the case. Worse, the Pi physically blocks the USB port on the touchscreen, so there's no way to connect a USB cable to the Pi for touchscreen operation. I was looking for a suitable USB cable, but there just wasn't room for a connector next to the Pi board.

If you have a Pi and the touchscreen that goes with it, this is an absolutely wonderful package. Impeccable quality parts, clear online instructions and the resulting kit is very efficient, right down to the detachable power cords that are included. The included rear fan keeps the Pi 4 running even under heavy workloads in temperatures below 40 degrees, which is pretty damn impressive. If it suits your needs, buy it. However, keep in mind that this does not include the Pi or the screen!

I bought this stand for HamClock display. It was pretty easy to put together. I am using the 3B+ model but have also tested the 4 model which would also work. I like that the display can be fully tilted and locked from vertical to horizontal. I like that it includes a fan which is probably needed for the RPi 4. I received a box with a card containing the URL of the online installation page. Pi connected to the screen in 15 minutes, tested successfully. I looked at the install page for several hours. There are 2 things that kept me from giving this 5 stars. First, why aren't the loops equally spaced?! I haven't found a reason for this. They try to simplify the assembly thank god, but they obviously didn't get any feedback from some test users.
