these times are good and do the job but the teeth parts and tube part aren't attached to each other so the parts fall every time we pick up a part. It's only a matter of time before I fall and smash it. It's easy to fix, just a little glue, but it shouldn't be fixed. It must be assembled correctly. Need a warning, if not already. Or full observation with. The parts are not glued and can easily be separated. My baby is very curious and I noticed that she took it apart and played with it. A real glass hourglass! This is a good idea and this was my second purchase. The first broke after a fall. They need a more secure design and that would be great.

I use it to clean my children's teeth. They love watching them brush their teeth and I love that I don't have to worry about batteries. They have been dropped a few times and still work perfectly. The only downside is the blue was a bit longer than the pink. I believe the pink was about 2 minutes longer and the blue a few seconds longer. I knew they would be cheap but wow! One kid felt cheap, threw one off the counter and it broke (I understand it's a jar but even a product intended for kids should be able to handle kid use), the other is sand like sticks halfway through use and will not drip off until you touch it. I didn't expect better timers, but I expected more.

Badly done! The "prongs" are not fixed to the tube, so the time can easily fall out. I have two yellow ones, which defeats the purpose of buying two (so two different kids know which one is theirs). Also, I timed both and after a few tests they both ended at 1:50 and 1:51. I see They are not precise instruments, but don't advertise 2 minutes unless you check their quality first, DO NOT BUY, find other timers.

The product is worth its price. It's not a cheap feel - the cog parts are heavier than I expected and the inner tubes are glass. However, I'm deducting a star because they can't stand being dropped off the bathroom counter.
