I love how well he has sharpened all the knives we have used so far. It leaves a very sharp, clean edge that can cut you if you're not careful.

Waste of time and money. It took exactly 2 minutes. Used it for 2 passes of the blade until the strap came loose from the top bearing and bit into the plastic case. Returned.

this was delivered today. I used it once and it broke. He shot a piece of metal and hit me in the arm. the metal part was part of the belt guide. I have 20 years butcher experience and the straps didn't sharpen my good set of knives. I couldn't even cut my arm hair after running it through this machine. In less than 5 minutes all the guides were showing severe wear and were getting very hot and would fail. the middle belt couldn't even withstand a knife.

I received 3 additional straps as advertised myself , can't find them, did not receive them, I will not get my additional straps as advertised, my straps never changed my quality also this sharpener is for kitchen knives only it sharpens at 20 degree angle only it will ruin your pocket knives and hunting knives most of these 35 degree lives are only for kitchen knives lawnmower blades and hatchets.

Tried multiple blades. Although I think they've gotten pretty spicy. I would describe it as blunt/sharp. None of them would pass the paper cutting test. Definitely not sharp enough to shave hair. You'd think it would perform just as well as the Work Sharp. But unfortunately this is not the case. Maybe the straps are bad? Maybe the geometry just doesn't fit? Maybe a combination of both? After reading some of the reviews I had my doubts. A lot of people have said that 20 degrees isn't good for pocket knives, but I didn't really think that was true. I've found that most pocket/folding knives use 20-23 degrees as their base. With this information I have used the sharpener on several different blades and each is much sharper than before without much effort or changing edge geometry. Pros: + Works fast and well.
