Remove and replace the cover. The bolts were a little different than the ones I removed from my 9.5 winch, but they weren't difficult to install. Just what I needed to fix a broken pin in a fork.

This fits my Smittybilt Gen2 XRC 9500 perfectly. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair. With the factory rubber lining I only had about 6 months before it held enough water to corrode and crack.

Fairly expensive for a 3 wire connector but my winch is working again. The quality seemed about the same as the old one (on the Smittybilt XRC). Had to change a bit as the backplate/screws were a bit different but everything is ok and working again. Also bought a cheap winch cover hoping not to need another plug any time soon.

As no picture is provided I will say this is the perfect replacement for my XRC 9500. This is a 5 pin controller adapter for winch control box. . Assembly takes 5 minutes with an Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver. Summit Racing offers a replacement controller box cover that has the outlet on the side instead of the top for about $11 and I think it will extend the life of my new outlet by minimizing water build-up .
