Description of SMK Link VP3720 Universal Projector Control

Consumers using home entertainment projection systems can now easily and inexpensively replace lost or damaged projector remote controls. Smaller businesses and educational institutions often do not have IT or AV departments to service the varying makes and models of projection systems in their inventories. In larger corporations and institutions, IT and AV departments are responsible for hundreds of projection systems across their facilities. Standardizing on the VP3720 Universal Remote Control allows resellers to stock a single inexpensive remote control to support all of the projectors and projection systems under their service contracts. Using the inexpensive Universal Remote Control as a backup or replacement remote control, decision makers may now support all of their projection systems with a single remote control.

Versatile but unexplored.

Bought after a bit of research to program a projector that promised the product would work but didn't work. Bought 2 and can't program any.

Limited but serves its purpose.

Although not all buttons are programmed on the original remote, it works to turn on/off the projectors and connect to the computer.

Mostly works best in audio and video accessories

This remote mainly worked for our Optoma projector but it doesn't do what we want it to do: turn the projector on and off. We can perform all other functions, but the Force will not work.

Using this remote to control ASUS B1M projector

This remote allows me to turn on my ASUS B1M projector, but I cannot turn it off. This is a ceiling mounted remote projector (ASUS B1M) located in the common room. To turn it off I have to ask a tall person to stand on the table and physically turn it off. This is not a safe situation.

Gives me access to menus but won't let me set up physical zoom capabilities

I wish I could use this to set up physical zoom on my projector (Sanyo PLC-WM5500L) but unfortunately it doesn't. However, this allows me to enter the menu settings to automatically set up the projector in the classroom. I will keep looking for something better that does what I want.

Optoma projector works great with this remote control!

I have an Optoma TH1060p Orjector and now with this remote I can turn the projector on and off and adjust the volume and mute which I really only need for the on/off function and that's what the remote can do be a bit annoying. does not control everything, the projector has all the necessary buttons, so after setting it up on the projector it is not necessary!

Basic projector remote control

I use it as a basic remote control for my Sony projector. The main buttons of the projector work fine after entering the Sony code. I also tweaked a few keys that are used less often. to control the BR player. This is now a customizable projector/BR player combo control including HiFi volume. Good product! I wish there were tiny HiFi/DVD remote control labels on the market.

Better than the original that came with my BenQ MS612ST

What a great replacement for my projector remote! Perfect fit for my BenQ MS612ST projector. I was afraid it wouldn't work, but it works great! All functions are available from this remote control. I really didn't like the small, flimsy original remote for my projector, but this one is great! The buttons are so responsive. No more pushing buttons and asking if the damn thing works. I love that the batteries are generic and cheap and the remote is a good size and everything is so fast and so…
