Wow, that thing smells bad. I sprayed the car, left the windows open and came back 12 hours later with the same horrible smell. I'm guessing it hides the smoke because all I could feel was the chemicals. Also, I accidentally sprayed some on the dashboard and it left rough spots and streaks that I had to scrub off. I'll update this review when I get back to my car, but here it is.

smoke eater and old camper we loaned to a smoker is bearable again. One application removed most if not all of the smell. It was a pop up camper so there is fabric on the sides. I have no doubt that a second dose would eliminate any remaining odor. I used another cleaner to get rid of the last odor just because I had it on hand. If I haven't had something lately, I would like to order another bottle.

After reading a few reviews I became a bit concerned. I bought an older Isuzu to ride the trails when I do a ton, and driving some of those roads just beats it to death. Well the previous owner smoked and it was bad. I cleaned the car and sprayed the entire interior of the car, let it sit one day and then aired it out another day and the smoke smell was gone and there was a very faint tea tree oil residue that was completely gone after about a day. Works perfectly.

Bought and an air purifier. I feel like it did a pretty good job removing the cigarette smell from a piece of furniture I bought, but I'm not sure yet because the tea tree smell is so overpowering. I doused it with this mixture the first day and then lightly sprayed the furniture daily for a month after purchase. It's been a few months now and the room still smells very strongly of tea tree. Hopefully there will be no cigarette smell when the tea tree smell dissipates.

We bought that and Odo-ban. I wouldn't buy this again. The smell was overwhelming and the price was 4 times higher than similar products. It didn't "eat up" the smell, it basically just blocked it, and in the vast majority of cases. Nicely packaged but not of high quality in real use. Instead, get some Odo-Ban when trying to get rid of the smoke smell from an item you have. I have personally used the product and it has worked very well, but I am not entirely happy with how much you get for what you pay for. It comes in an almost regular sized bottle and you have to pay $20 a pop for it, making it difficult to justify the purchase.
