So useful! They're a bit tricky to pass in moderate winds, but if you tune with the wind on the back of the churns it's fine. My 14th son swings with might and main in the garage as I walk through to him. They bounce off windows or whatever and no problem. The only thing we ever broke was an unprotected lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. He didn't break the glass, he just turned off the light.

Having used these balls and soft hit balls, I prefer soft hit balls. They are not large enough in diameter and too light to cast anything other than a soft cast. Even a forward throw from more than 10 feet is a feat of strength and when it's windy you can forget about it. We've used them a few times and hardly ever used them except for angled side casts. The overhead throw flight was also unpredictable and virtually useless for meaningful batting practice at home.

Love it. They are great for my baseball players. They know when to hit the ball hard. They are perfect for bad weather days and winter camps when we work out in the gym. Don't be afraid of breaking windows or lights. We used to have wiffleballs but they are tough and still broke the window on the track. These balls hit the windows from less than 20 feet and into the line and simply rebounded. In addition, none of the children will suffer in the narrow spaces of the gym.
