Great idea and such a good buy! Not only do they prevent my mail from pooling and walking on the floor on rainy and snowy days, they also keep out drafts and provide privacy if someone decides to look in my mailbox. It's easy to install and I'm definitely not handy. The included measuring tool makes this easy. I am happy with this purchase.

We installed a mailbox in our garage door. Every day I had to collect mail from the garage floor (rough cement ruining my manicure!) One day I was looking for a solution and came across this product. There are no more complaints from the postman about not being able to push the mail through the slot. (There was a downward-facing metal cover bolted to the inside of the letter slot, which caused problems for the carrier when trying to push large envelopes through; I removed the cover when installing the Snail Sakk.) Bought these for the door letter box in my parents garden apartment. They're retired, and bending down to pick up mail off the floor is not only a mess, it's a strain on their backs and knees that they just don't need.
