Festool Centrotec Adapters Set: Introducing SNAPPY's Premium 5 Piece Adapter Kit! Review

Typical good quality snappy tools. My only criticism is Festool refusing to provide a 1/4" quick change hex chuck, forcing me to buy double drill bits and countersinks for my Festool drill bits.

Well done. (Additional info: I've tried them a few times and they didn't work. They fit the drill well, but they smudge where the drill goes into the chuck, causing the drill to slip once it encounters some resistance. I have tried to remove the grease but they still slip.rather than messing with them it's easier to go to a regular cartridge with a regular bit and just use them.next I'm going to try a Festool set which I did should have done first. More expensive, but I'm sure they work.)

I really like these adapters. They are similar to the McMaster-Carr 3185A41 to 3185A54 adapters except instead of regular bit holders they have a hex for Centrotec. I especially like the included hex adapter that slides onto the Centrotec hex so your wrench doesn't damage it when you tighten the bit. The detachable belt clip is also nice, so you can carry the bag on your belt without knowing where the contents of the bag are. I was motivated to buy this set because the Festool Quick Change Bit…
