This is a pretty well made jewelry box. Like many people, I find it ridiculous to spend more than $20 to $30 on a small jewelry box; I don't need anything extraordinary. I bought this to display handmade jewelry that a friend gave me to sell. So I wasn't looking for anything spectacular or memorabilia. But it's so cheaply made I'd be embarrassed to give it to a kid just to dress up. He wouldn't even last five seconds.
