🛌 Enhanced Comfort and Performance with Soft Density Interface Pad Hook Review

I bought this for some detailed sanding work with 1000+ grit sandpaper, but you know I don't take it off for general low grit sanding either. It looks like a hard pad, but it's perforated so that the built-in vacuum cleaner can suck up the dust. This works particularly well with the new grid sanding discs. Highly recommended.

This is exactly what I expected. Great for hooking up to my random orbital sander and allows you to sand things that aren't necessarily flat. The hooks and loops are strong and prevent the sandpaper from slipping even after changing the paper several times. I think it will hold up well and not too expensive for what it is. As for the dust holes, I haven't drilled them yet, but I'm sure I can adapt them to my grinder without much effort, which is better than having lots of holes that don't…

This pillow is great. I needed a pillow with no holes to collect dust. I don't use grinding wheels with holes to collect dust. This disc is also excellent when using Abralon discs (soft, shock-absorbing abrasives) for wet sanding with an electric orbital sander. I don't want water running through my electric random orbital sander for obvious reasons. There is a review here where a guy says his discs fly off his grinder. Either it has too much dust on the cushion or its hooks/loops are worn out.
