Soft Swing for Furniture Hardware

I bought this to put on the bottom of rocking chairs to avoid scratching the wooden floor. I had enough for two large wooden rocking chairs. The tape stuck easily and stuck very well. Several months have passed and the chairs are in frequent use. Rocking is more comfortable because there are no noises or small bumps. It also makes cleaning easier as I can just slide the chairs back. Due to the material of the strap I was expecting the chairs to move more during use but this is not the case. We…

Ideal material for Roomba bumpers.

Have a Roomba After a year or so with your little electric buddy, have you noticed slight scuffs on the legs of your expensive furniture? Things that could be used to make a basic Roomba bumper but none of the ones I've seen beat this in value. Roomba Features: -Glue is really strong; Wipe down with alcohol before applying -This roller covered two of my Roombas (and I think there's one left?) -The bumper is thin enough not to interfere with docking with the charging station -Cheap

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great quality and price, both dark and light colors work great.

The whole house is made of wood on the floor and ceramic tiles, so everything really needs such a protective base. I've found that while regular "slices" work well in some cases, strips cut from such a roll actually work in a variety of furniture options. The reel is good for the price and I had no problems. with glue; So far I can move chairs and things and it stays in place. I always keep a roll of dark and light paints on hand just in case, and it turned out to be very handy!

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are flaws

Foolproof, good for furniture cushions

I used these felt strips to put a swing set (that scratched my porch floor) on top of a pair of rocking chairs. Before applying, I cleaned the rocker feet, sanded them lightly, removed the sanding dust with a duster and then simply glued them on. It's easy and the result is great! So because the rocking chairs on each chair were just over 1" wide (and about 34" long), a 60" package couldn't even cover 1 of 4 swings, although I didn't really need it, nor cover the back 4"each seesaw), I needed 4

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • There are downsides

No more scratches. for furniture pads

I bought this many years ago after we had supplied hardwoods. We have a huge dresser made of solid wood and very heavy. I didn't want it to scratch the floor if we had to move it. I bought Lowe's. It worked really well as we have moved the dresser many times and not a single scratch. Alternatively, you can simply slide it over hardwoods. We bought a huge chair years ago and it doesn't budge on the floor either. Even though it has wooden legs, it still scratches the ground. I got really fed up…

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Short manual
