I need a case that will protect my iPad mini 5. Robust models without a flip screen do not fit. Flip screen models without a drop/drop test or protection will also not work. I love this case. Love the color and that the TPU material is the same color as the case and not just boring (lazy) black. I like how it feels in my hand and I like its weight. What I don't like is the white spots that appeared on the front and back in just a week. When I saw the first white spot I thought I got on the case so I wiped it off with a wet rag. I recently upgraded my iPad mini 2 to a 2019 iPad mini 5 and was sad that the mini 5 didn't fit Apple's old iPad mini leather sleeve; It turns out that the new Mini 5 is about a millimeter larger. This prompted me to look for something similar that would work with my new Mini and I settled on the Soke iPad Mini case from 2019. My only issue (and I wouldn't rate it negatively enough) is that I find it , that you have to fiddle with the Soke Case a little longer than Apple to put it on the table.

Finally, I didn't want to bother with having to pull part of the iPad out to keep it in one of the slots while traveling. I'll start by saying this is a great iPad case but unfortunately not for everyone. The case is really well made and looks nice from the outside, almost like fabric. The Apple Pencil has a stretch strap, which is very handy, especially considering Apple didn't include a magnetic mechanism to attach the stylus like it does on its new iPad Pros.
