Great for RV solar panels

The brackets that came with the solar panels I bought only had one hole to attach them to my RV roof. They have two holes and are very safe.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Very strong easy to install no loosening

Bought 8 of these so far and they all work great. I use them to attach my panels to 2x2 lumber. Makes them portable and I can hang them facing the sunlight if needed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will add later

But nice black anodized finish compared to others

Bought from another manufacturer to match the black bezels. Robust, complete set of mounting material. I think they are very expensive for what they are but the price is on par with everything else I have found including buying overseas and waiting forever.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Did exactly what they were supposed to do

I used them to install my 100 watt panel on my extendable RV. They sent some self tapping screws with a gasket but I used double sided tape on the bottom and duct tape on the top. It held the panel securely and left enough room to mount the cable in the RV.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Updates

Secure mounting Suitable for solar and wind power

You know what's frustrating? Arriving at a campground and realizing that one of your solar panels has exploded somewhere on the freeway. Boy I hope nobody was behind me! The panels were attached with large supports and sikaflex which held up well on the metal roof but not on the plastic support. So I bought a new panel and a set of these brackets. It's nice and thick strong aluminum and the mount feels really solid now.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Functionality

Just like potato chips, I just can't eat just one.

Installing solar panels on any type of roof will make your life a lot easier by using the right tools and products for the job. This makes the installation appear like you know what you're doing and look professional. You will need 4 for each panel. They work well on roofs with curved surfaces. My setup was on a 500w Bigfoot 2500 Series 10.9 fiberglass camper. You work for us.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Negative

It arrived on the promised day.

mounts will fit but if you have time order similar ones and for the same price. The delivery time is three weeks. So if you are in a hurry, buy them. They are lighter and the nuts and bolts are small and poor quality so I went to Lowes and bought stainless steel and big enough to fill the mount. Holes in my Renogy solar panel. Other inexpensive Z-brackets have decent quality nuts and bolts, so they're actually a few bucks cheaper, but that's a long wait.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Negative is provided

Rich Solar brackets "z bracket b " will not fit any of my rich solar panels

I have 4 Richsolar RS-100 100W panels. When I turned them over to do this installation (in a remote location no less) I found that in 4 panels I had 3 different mounting hole configurations, one panel was very different from the other 3. Not only that, but NO panel. that I have were compatible with these mounts (I have a type B Z mount). So now my records have to sit on the floor for a few more weeks before I can try the drive again. Very, very awkward and, to be honest, silly: even if I bought

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • poorly thought out
