It does exactly as advertised. It is a good local area flashlight and lantern. It is light enough for back packing bike camping or to put in a bug out bag. The solar panel will recharge its dead battery to at least 3/4 in a day of good sunshine. Very good for such a small solar panel. The battery capacity as I charged my last years phone with a 1900mAH battery twice with all three lanterns. I was able to only get 22% both times on this one I was able to get 25% the first time and 28% the second

Excellent light overall, but the plastic lantern section would not collapse evenly into itself after the first try. But it really did charge great, and the light lasted several hours, at least (we never had it on for long). The carry handle is really helpful to hook it or clip it (with a binder clip) everywhere we used it. We charged it on the dashboard of our locked car during the day.

Bought a second for myself. Have been using first one for two years. Every 3 months I make sure my lanterns are fully charged…just incase. Haven’t had need to try out the solar panel . These make Great 🎁 Gifts !

I lover these little solar powered light. They serve as both a flashlight and a small lamp.As long as you expose them to some sunlight they are ready to use when you need them.

Very bright and nice to have, however it will not close completely. Do not know if I received a defective one. Not worth returning Took it to work to show others which they did like it but they could not close either and thought maybe it would break with too many opening and closings. I disagree because of the material it is made with.

I have this as an emergency light for the house. I have charged it both with a USB cable and by sticking it next to the window to utilize the solar panel. Both options charge the flashlight and the light it provides is enough.

This is what they are talking about when they say big things come in small packages.This little guy takes up very little space in a camping or hiking pack. It charges quickly and efficiently and brightens the area with the best of the big guys. This is a must have on your next outing whether you are going out for the afternoon or for the week. yiu will never be without a charge as long as you have access to the sun.I also like that it folds up for smaller needs and packaging purposes. but…

It's compact, and gives off a good deal of light for the size. I don't like I have to cycle through the different modes to turn it off. It keeps a pretty good charge. I've gone camping a whole weekend on one charge. For an inexpensive lantern, this is phenomenal.

Took it camping and loved it. Versatility between general light and mini-flashlight was ideal, and made life notably easier. Only complaint is that the white can be a little jarring if used in a confined space (like tent), so would recommend finding a yellow paper lantern to set it in for that purpose.

Love this product. I charge it during the day and use it when I sit outside at night. It has a handle for convenience and collapses for storage.

I needed a handy lantern to work in dark spaces while in basements in handyman related jobs and this affordable little wonder really helped me out. I like the most its powerful high beam that really brightens up that I don't miss a spot. I also like that is recheargable so I don't have to worry about replacing batteries. It's got a small solar panel which I use by leaving it on the car dashboard. The collapsible screen spreads the light all around.

The clear cone on mine was defective and had a few problems the worst one making it not stand up straight. The collapsible design may make the lantern difficult to use or set up in the dark or with cold hands.
