We have made several hundred boards from this material and it works great no problem. In addition, it leaves no traces of flux.

Really good for two handed soldering. I used a flashlight to solder silicone coated wire with this paste. but first i added some flux.

This product is not suitable for soldering SMD components because there is not enough flux for soldering. The product I received was very dry and hard.

This is a good product. It was easy to use, had a soft texture and applied easily with a stencil and trowel. I posted before and after pictures. I would order it again.

All is good ** but expiry date is 12 months and when I bought May 9th 2019 and received solder paste on May 11th .May 2019 the date on the product was 14 April 2019 so I lost a month of shelf life***

I've used this light weight solder paste a number of times and I'm happy with it. I'm still learning the whole jewelry soldering process. Now I know that there are several types. This one is good for small details. If you don't get it right, it will fall apart. That's why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

Here's the problem - solder paste needs to be stored in the fridge. Reputable distributors store it in this form and ship it in cold packs. This paste purchased from DigiKey is very good. I suspect the reason some people have had bad experiences is because these things are stored incorrectly. So you might be unlucky to get one that has gone bad as a result. I hope this hasn't happened to me - I'll update.
