perfect mat for my use and probably yours.

I will be using this to fix a lot of my stuff and it will probably have a permanent spot on my desk. and sits comfortably on my desk and contains everything you need for soldering and general repairs. but I will mainly use it for repairing electronics.

A must if you work with a heat gun!

The kit contains several tools that will be useful for opening mobile phones and game consoles. The magnetizer feels comfortable. You just run a screwdriver through it and it will be magnetized. Really cool inclusion. The mat itself really works in terms of heat resistance. I set the heat gun to 900F and kept it close. The mat actually rose from the surface I was working on and all that happened was a slight surface warp and the flux seeping onto it staining the mat. That is all, except that…

Great portable workbench for small electronics projects

I've wanted one of these since I discovered it. I don't usually work with phones or small electronics, but I do solder a lot. This mat's layout offers a great size for many things, and the cutouts for screws and small parts will definitely come in handy. The magnet behind it is NOT very strong, the screws will still fall out when you lift the mat, but it at least helps things stay in place as long as the mat is flat.
