A $20 surcharge prevented the surgery!

We have 9 cats, 3 of which suddenly had problems urinating. After several months of vet visits, X-rays, tests, and $$$$ RX fodder, nothing seemed to help. I took 3 to a specialist and she said you are treating the symptoms not the cause. Along with grain-free pellets, homemade wet food, and a vet-recommended lysine supplement, I researched to find more! I had one with struvite bubble crystals in preparation for surgery. After 2 weeks on new food and supplements I went back to our old vet and he

Not effective with multivitamins

I have been closely monitoring my cat's health as she has had crystals in her urine in the past. I bought it after the vet found a small amount of crystals in his urine. He only eats wet food soaked in water, so dehydration is not a problem. After six months and retesting his urine, he actually had significantly more urine crystals, despite following the directions for this supplement closely. Not to mention he doesn't like the taste - instead he tries to eat my other cat's food. So it either…

Like almost every other review I've read

I'm sorry it took me so long to take our dog's health into my own hands. About 5 months ago we accidentally discovered that our little Miniature Schnauzer had bladder stones. Like pretty much every other review I've read, our resident vet put him on this crazy scientific diet which is not only expensive but ended up causing another colitis problem in our little dog. So every few weeks we would go to her medical office about this problem. After about a month I finally decided to talk to the vet…

It works for my cat!

For the past year or two my cat Smegal has been peeing on the floor occasionally. I always knew that if the tray was abused it was recommended that a urine test be taken, but I always thought it was something else - a change in litter species, one of our cats taunting Smegal, etc. Well, last month finally me took a urine sample to the vet and in fact the pH was too high and there were crystals in the urine. They definitely recommended prescription diet foods; However, I bought all three canned…

Unbelievable! It's a miracle!

With 3 skins (2 cat brothers - 1 big dog) and one parent. Symptoms or illnesses, even injuries, are always a concern. One of my cats started going out of the litter box after 5 years (and shared a litter box with his brother). He did it once, about a year ago, but it was a one-time thing and I wasn't even sure what kind of cat it was. This time it was clear that we had problems. I had my vet do more testing than he even thought necessary - I wanted to know why, and going on a "vet nutritional…
