I've always thought that plate frames should be minimalist and unobtrusive. So far I have always bought thin black powder-coated or chrome-plated frames. Until recently, I didn't know these silicone frames existed, so I decided to give it a try. This is a great product! Used it on my 2007 Toyota Corolla. Now when I close the trunk, I no longer hear that annoying rattling. When I bought a new car I wanted to get rid of the dealer frames as soon as possible.
