So effective, the best mandolins and slicers

Can't believe I waited until my THIRD child bought one of these. Years of quartering grapes with a knife wasted! The cluster is too small to "sit" on the blade and push down, so I turned it over, placed the cluster on the "handle" and passed the blade over it. That's great. Serious.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Annoying

Cooking for toddlers made easy

It's brand new so we'll see how the blades hold up but so far it's PERFECT for my needs. After chopping about a bajillion grapes for a young child, I realized I needed a tool to speed up the cooking. It can crush ripe fruit, but the inclined position makes it ideal for even the smallest blueberries.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Good but not great

"Normal " gadget. suitable for mandolins and slicers

.Price. But in reality it is not very versatile. It can cut SHORT slices of carrots, zucchini, cucumbers, etc., but anything longer than 2 inches, forget it. And you need to be very careful when you put vegetables or fruits into the device, otherwise they won't be cut properly. Thought it worked fine at first but quickly becomes more of an annoyance than a help.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Very handy for mandolins and slicers

I love quartering cherry tomatoes to put on tacos. This is perfect for this as it's a messy situation with a knife. It also works well with celery and carrots. Simply insert the item and slide. I've used it to make homemade fries, although you'll need a knife to cut the fries into reasonably sized pieces. I liked it so much that I bought a few more for the family.

Cons
  • It's too stupid to have

Amazing Vegetable Slicer

This is a quality, durable slicer that will cut almost any vegetable or fruit that will fit. We got this to quarter grapes for our little one and it's great for that. The cutting blades are angled towards the center so that they naturally guide the clippings towards the center for an even cut. Only used on grapes and strawberries so far but seems sharp enough to slice carrots as advertised.

  • Nicely

Would buy again! Mandolins & Slicers

I haven't used it much but GOD I LOVE IT! I was able to cut 2 bowls of grapes in the same amount of time as a knife to fill only part of a bowl. It's really adorable. For a parent AND a person with carpal tunnel syndrome, this is definitely a blessing. I've been trying to find something similar for a while. I will buy another. Not even sorry lol! Only complaint is that I wish it sold in multiple sizes but honestly I don't care lol.

  • finally bought

Everything seems fine. - Kitchen and dining room

I tried this product for the first time today. I love carrot sticks, so that's actually what I bought them for. It worked fine, but I wish there were instructions with it. The illustration of how to use it was on the side of the box and it really helped. You have to use fairly short pieces of carrot or they will bend. Also, I had some grinding issues. I think the more I use it the better it gets. Right now I'm rating it a 4 because I like it and it cuts carrots quickly.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Very effective, requires two hands or many strokes with one hand.

Works well. The blades are sharp and easy to clean. It fits a normal sized cucumber, lime or small lemon. Smaller things like grapes or cherry tomatoes are a bit more difficult. I wish there was a little more room behind the blades to slice into a bunch of grapes or whatever without having to constantly move them into the bowl. But I got creative with plastic wrap and a jar to solve this problem. It's quick with things like cucumbers or sticky carrots. Not always the most even quartering…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Bought this as a gift for a child who enjoys cutting fruit and veg but is not yet old enough to use a real knife for safety reasons. The tool is fantastic. It cuts grapes, strawberries, carrots, celery sticks and anything you can actually fit in a hole into long or short quarters depending on what you put in it. If you put strawberries or grapes in it, you get perfectly quartered fruit. If you put a radish in you have four fun slices, carrots are nice long pieces that come out after you cut…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
